How To Set Up Outlook Email On Android Phone

Yous need to manually setup your Gmail account using IMAP in the Outlook app. When you set upwards an email account manually using IMAP, only the emails will sync. Here's how to setup an IMAP account in Outlook for Android:
- In the Outlook for Android app, get to Settings > Add Business relationship > Add E-mail Business relationship.
- Enter email accost. Tap Add together Account.
- Enter your countersign and whatever additional server settings y'all may demand from the e-mail provider. Tap Sign-in.
- Make certain that you enabled IMAP on your email account from your email provider.

I don't receive the "Add together Account". It automatically tries to add together the gmail account and won't allow me manually configure it. I encounter the class to enter my electronic mail address and I tin enter "@gmail.com" manually or select it. And then information technology pops upwards the error message. (run into images) Yes, pop and imap are enabled.

y'all must have chrome installed. uninstall whatever other browser you take.

I had this aforementioned problem. I had to brand chrome my default browser in android. It worked after that.

I take been a poor community member and non replied. The resolution wasn't that I had to modify browsers. Information technology was a security outcome. Unfortunately I tin't retrieve exactly what information technology was I inverse (like I said, I have been a poor customs member and not replied - so I have forgotten). But it was that I had to update security permissions on something. Maybe giving file admission to FF or Outlook? Either way, I didn't take to change browsers.

Browser was irrelevant. Security permission was. Effect has been resolved. Chrome is installed as part of default Os, however I did not take to make chrome my default browser.
